Katy's primary areas include the humanities and social sciences and advising for job seekers in the not-for-profit and government sectors as well as students pursuing graduate school. She works with affinity group development and faculty, staff and student outreach, and provides specific support for pre-health and pre-law programs. Katy came to Gettysburg from Towson University where she recruited international students from Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Before Towson, she was a Legislative Assistant for the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, Subcommittee on Housing. She holds her M.S.W. from Catholic University and her undergraduate degree from Hollins University in Roanoke,VA.
