David Torromeo P'2020, Executive Director/Consultant and Founder, Sports Business Management Program, Manhattanville College School of Business (Purchase, NY). Shadow Description: Students will be exposed to various sports related businesses and experiences based on my and others experiences in the sports business industry, entrepreneur/start-ups and what our graduate level curriculum provides. Please note that this is NOT a sales effort for the grad program, but as we are 100% adjunct taught all of our contacts are in the industry. Students will meet with various industry leaders and learn about different aspects of the sports business industry...from local organizations to start-ups...may require some local travel between Stamford, CT, Manhattanville College which will serve as a base and nearby New York City. Students with a strong interest in working ion sports related fields preferred. Some of the organizations we may meet/hear from include: Sports Business Advocates, Fairfield County Sports Commission, USTA, PGA, Future Sports Business Executives and others...events and locations for shadowing will depend on the number of students interested/attending.
