Student Request for Funding

What are you doing to get the skills needed for your first job?  Want to take advantage of an opportunity for an internship or externship but not sure how you'll pay for it? This year the Center for Career Development can help.

We are offering financial assistance to a limited number of students.  This funding is NOT a stipend.  It is a reimbursement of expenses such as rent, food, purchase of professional clothing, transportation, etc.

The suggested deadline for funding applications is April 20th by 5pm. Funding requests will be considered in May for the following summer, September for the following fall and January for the upcoming spring semester. You will be notified of a date and time approximately 2 weeks before you are scheduled to meet with the Funding Committee. At this meeting, please be prepared to discuss funding needs and answer clarification questions. Your meeting with the committee will generally take place on a Friday afternoon at the Center for Career Development. Any exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.
