Gettysburg alumni and parents are organizing career-focused groups across the nation. In partnership with our staff, Gettysburg's Great American Cities "hub" groups sponsor numerous activities in their local areas. For example, "Bright Lights! Big City!" seminars bring students interested in a particular field together with experienced professionals, who help student sharpen their presentation and networking skills. Other opportunities include career mentoring, speaking in class, job shadowing, reviewing resumes, conducting practice interviews, and grad school advising. |
