The Intern Contest

Now's your chance to show some Gettysburg alums what you've got...
This fall, the Center for Career Development will be holding its first ever internship contest. We want to know what you personally can bring to some amazing alumni-sponsored internship opportunities in the Summer of 2009. All you need to do is tell us why you're the best person for the job in a 3-5 minute video and you could be on your way this summer to a new city to learn more than you can imagine.
Submissions will be due by Friday, October 31st. Print out the application information below to get started. Students chosen from the video submissions will be interviewed by a panel in early December and the winners will be notified before Winter Break. Some of the internships will be paid and some not, but all winners will receive $1,500 in housing assistance for the summer.
Important Notes:
CBS - Research Assistant, News Division, research skills a must.
YES Network - Production Assistant , relevant coursework a plus.
Zapwater - Public Relations Intern, must be creative and motivated.
