Special Events

The Center for Career Development is looking for alumni and parent volunteers to help with two programs this coming January 2010:  Job Shadowing and Dinner with Strangers.

Job Shadowing, January 4-8, 2010 (one day during this week)
Bring students to your workplace for one day to observe and gain a better understanding of what you do on a daily basis and the culture in which you work.  

Dinner with Strangers, January 7, 2010
Host a group of Gettysburg College students for dinner; in your home or at a favorite restaurant.  This dinner gives students the chance to practice their networking and conversational skills and it is a great way to build and strengthen the Gettysburg family. Help students, meet fellow Gettysburgians, and enjoy a lovely meal!
