Heston Summer Experience

 
Program Overview
Made possible by a generous gift from James Heston '70, the Heston Summer Experience aims to further Gettysburg College's vision for active engagement in local and global contexts by providing a summer experience to ten students. Through domestic and international immersion, students will have an extraordinary opportunity to engage in the work of community action.

Fully-Funded
Sixteen positions have been filled for the Summer of 2009!

Gettysburg:       Five (6) paid positions
San Carlos:       Two (2) fully funded positions with small  living allowance
Nicaragua:        Four (5) fully funded positions  in and around Ciudad Sandino
Uganda:           Three (3) fully funded positions in and around Masaka.
