In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Center for Public Service, we offer a fully-funded January trip to Washington D.C.

Twelve accepted students will participate in fall semester service activities and dialogue groups as well as meet with Fall Convocation speaker, Deepa Fernandes. This experience will culminate with the trip to D.C.

Throughout the experience, participants will hear personal narratives of people contributing their voices of resistance in the fight for workers’ rights, for immigration, and against human trafficking. Students will examine how the media has influenced our assumptions, connect with activists using media, education, direct assistance and policy to create change, and develop their own voices of resistance.
