No specific experience is necessary. Volunteers must be age 12+.

Depending on the need, a shift may entail cooking, repackaging or produce processing

Below are the dates and shifts available.  We are only able to take up to 6 people maximum for cooking shifts since space is limited. Please sumbit your information.

DONATE
We are always seeking monetary and food donations to suppliment our kitchen supply and ensure well balanced meals. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting a food drive, making a donation or becoming a continual partner of the Campus Kitchen. We are happy to work with you! FUNDRAISE
The Campus Kitchen operates through a small grant, the support of the Center for Public Service and the generousity of many people. We would love to work with you to organize a fundraising event that will be mutually beneficial for your organization as well as the Campus Kitchen. Contact us to make plans!

LEADERSHIP TEAM
The Leadership Team is an integral part of the success of the Campus Kitchen.  The LT provides students with the opportunity to take on a position of higher responsibility and leadership in the day-to-day operations of the Campus Kitchen at Gettysburg College.  Students will take an active role in everyday activities, as well as in the growth and continuation of the Campus Kitchen. 

Responsibilities of LT Members:

• Volunteer Recruitment: encourage and train new volunteers
• Public Relations: promote the work of the Campus Kitchen on campus and in the community
• Special Events: organize activities throughout the year to involve the campus-wide community
• Fundraising:  assist in raising funds to support the work of the Campus Kitchen
• Food Resourcing: assist in maintaining and expanding food pick-ups on and off campus
