eRace: Gettysburg Dialogue for Campus Unity
|
|
eRace: Gettysburg Dialogue for Campus Unity is a new movement on campus for students engaging in racial justice dialogue and seeking to change the racial climate on campus. It began with an idea: to give students the space to share their experience. It has evolved into a movement designed to challenge the cultural climate at Gettysburg College. A small and vibrant group White students and Students of Color gather weekly to discuss race issues in Gettysburg College, in the world, and in their personal lives. We engage in dialogue in an environment that is respectful, frank and even humorous to dismantle racial myths, expose white privilege, confront internalized racism. |
