Students for Nicaragua

Students for Nicaragua (SFN) is a group of students actively supporting sustainable community development in Nicaragua.  We do this by raising awareness of issues pertaining to Nicaraguan development in our campus and our community, collaborating with student and global organizations that advocate similar objectives, and supporting Project Gettysburg León through fundraising and other initiatives.

We meet regularly to discuss, investigate, and understand sustainable development in Nicaragua and to build a support community for students who have participated in Nicaragua service learning projects.

SFN is affiliated with two local organizations: Project Gettysburg León (PGL) and The Center for Public Service (CPS).  This affiliation is through the CPS Program Coordinator for PGL who will always serve as an officer and member of SFN's Executive Board.
