National Alliance to End Homelessness
The National Alliance to End Homelessness is a nonpartisan, mission-driven organization committed to preventing and ending homelessness in the United States.

National Coalition for the Homeless
The National Coalition for the Homeless is a national network of people who are currently experiencing or who have experienced homelessness, activists and advocates, community-based and faith-based service providers, and others committed to a single mission. That mission, our common bond, is to end homelessness. We are committed to creating the systemic and attitudinal changes necessary to prevent and end homelessness.

National Network for Youth
Championing the needs of runaway, homeless, and other disconnected youth through advocacy, innovation and services - one community at a time.

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans
NCHV will end homelessness among veterans by shaping policy, promoting collaboration, and building the capacity of service providers."

National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty
The mission of NLCHP is to prevent and end homelessness by serving as the legal arm of the nationwide movement to end homelessness. To achieve its mission, the organization pursues three main strategies, impact litigation, policy advocacy and public education.

DC Central Kitchen
The mission of DC Central Kitchen is to use food as a tool to:

  • Strengthen Bodies, by safely recovering unserved food from local foodservice businesses to feed children and adults at partner agencies throughout the greater Washington area
  • Empower Minds, by providing culinary job training for unemployed men and women and community service opportunities for youth and adults
  • Build Communities, by providing working examples, innovative solutions, and shared technology to a cooperative and effective national network of programs that use food to make change in their communities

    The mission of the Coalition for the Homeless is to help transition homeless and at risk individuals and families in the Washington D.C. area to self-sufficiency through housing programs and supportive services.

    N Street Village
    N Street Village empowers homeless and low-income women to claim their highest quality of life by offering a broad spectrum of services and advocacy in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.  The Village also provides affordable rental housing for low and moderate-income individuals and families.
