Summer Adventure Education Camp Series 2015
This camp is sponsored by The Office of Experiential Education and facilitated by staff members of the Gettysburg Recreational Adventure Board (GRAB) at Gettysburg College for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old (entering 1st grade through 7th grade). We utilize experiential techniques and wilderness based curricula to highlight group collaboration in a positive learning environment. Our experiential education workshops are developmental and instructional in approach, and cater to meet the specific needs of each camper. Because of this, our programs can accommodate for a wide range of abilities and we are careful to select experiences that are age appropriate and can achieve positive growth outcomes. The camp includes a variety of interactive activities, treks in the Michaux State Forest, and the use of our onsite climbing wall and challenge course.
Camps dates remaining for the weeks of July 20, 27, and August 3
