Expeditions 2012

Through the GRAB Expedition series, we have visited Peru, Scotland, Austria, France, Italy, Romania, Spain and Slovenia for our international trekking programs.  In addition, we have sent trips to Alaska, Montana, Baja, Washington, and most states between Maine and Florida for our domestic backcountry programs. This year we add Ireland and Umbria, Italy to our list of treks.   

Trekking Series
Our trekking series consist of hiking between 7-14 miles through the foothills and forests of Europe and enjoying a family style dinner while relaxing in a bed and breakfast at night. All you carry each day is a small daypack, while your luggage is transported ahead.

Backcountry Series
Our backcountry program consist of sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, and climbing. These are self contained trips where we travel in small groups of 8-12 and enjoy the challenges and rewards that the wilderness provides. We provide all technical equipment, instruction, and meals.
