WIDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER RECERTIFICATION

The Wilderness First Responder (WFR) recertification is a 2-day course that refreshes current WMA WFR's on patient assessment, body systems, equipment improvisation, trauma, environmental medicine, toxins, backcountry medicine, and wilderness rescue. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a recertification card from Wilderness Medical Associates which remains valid for three years. Only WFRs certified by WMA are eligible for this course.
Students must be at least 16 years of age to participate in this course (16 and 17 year olds must have proof of parental consent).

Topics include patient assessment, body systems, equipment improvisation, trauma, environmental medicine, toxins, backcountry medicine, and wilderness rescue. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certification card from Wilderness Medical Associates which remains valid for three years.
