Wilderness First Responder Recertification

What: 

Wilderness Medical Associates 16-hour Recertification course, hosted by the Gettysburg College Office of Experiential Education.  This course will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.  Enroll early!  Please note to take this course you must have received your last certification from Wilderness Medical Associates and not another provider.

When: 

Friday, May 8 - Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Where: 

Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA.  Driving distances from nearby urban centers (approximate):  40 minutes from Harrisburg, PA; 75 minutes from Baltimore, MD; 85 minutes from Washington, DC.

Registration: 

Registration begins January 15, 2009, and ends when the course is full.  This course is limited to 25 students. 

Course fee & Housing Options 

$250 (does not include housing). The College is unable to provide housing for the recertification, however there are many options for housing in the area from camping to hotels. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions concerning housing.

Payment: 

Full payment is required at registration to secure your place in the course.  The fee is fully refundable if you drop out of the course on or before April 15th.  If you drop out of the course between April 15th and April 30th, you may receive a 50% refund ($125) on your registration.  If you drop out of the course after April 30th, there will be NO REFUND available.
