Office of Greek Organizations

The office of Greek organizations serves as a liaison among the collegiate chapters, parents, alumni, national/international organizations, and Gettysburg College to provide educational programs, services and resources toward the holistic growth of the Greek community.  We support the ideals of our Greek organizations by challenging members to live by their purposes.

Mission Statement

The Office of Greek Organizations aims to facilitate the development of an exemplary fraternity and sorority community.  We aim to produce engaged citizens who make a difference in their communities both now and in the future.   The following four points outline the overarching mission statement of our office:

• To promote the development of character, leadership and integrity in all members of the Greek Community. 
• To produce men and women of competence and maturity who will contribute positively to the world in which they live.
• To return the chapters currently on campus to the principles upon which these organizations were founded.   
• Promote and increase individual, organizational, and administrative accountability for issues occurring within the Greek community.
