Alpha Tau Omega boasts one of the most active brotherhoods in all aspects of life at Gettysburg. In addition to raising money to rebuild the burned-down Ole Miss ATO chapter, the brothers of ATO also banded together to raise $1000 for Hurricane Katrina relief. ATO brothers also are extremely active on the playing fields, with varsity athletes in football, baseball, basketball, and track, as well as club participants in rugby and boxing. The fraternity also takes pride in their intramural teams, competing in sports ranging from basketball to volleyball. ATO is not limited to athletic prowess, however, boasting a cumulative GPA that compares favorably to the average for all men on campus. Famous alumni of ATO include Tennessee Williams, Keith Jackson, Steve Spurrier, Jack Kemp, and Rod Tosten VP of Information Technology for Gettysburg College. Alpha Tau Omega has a faithful and dedicated brotherhood committed to getting the best out of not only themselves but motivating their brothers to succeed as well.
