"Campus Influenza Update"

The Centers for Disease Control report an early arrival for the start of the Flu season with an increase in the number of cases expected. The A/H3N2 type influenza is currently circulating and had been responsible for a major outbreak in the past.  Good news is that the influenza vaccine made for this season covers this type of Flu. The Health Service saw a few students with flu like illness prior to break and in students currently on campus. It is not too late to receive the vaccine and we advise you to consider getting the flu shot prior to returning to campus in January. This will give you the best chance of vaccine coverage. The shot will also still be available on campus after your return.  Get vaccinated today and help keep our campus community healthy!

• diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases

The Health Services office promotes healthy lifestyles and decision-making, and encourages all students to play the central role in their own health-which can involve everything from taking part in Center-sponsored health education programs to simply seeking treatment at the onset of illness or injury.
