Diwali - Festival of Light

October 4

October 4, 2008 - The International Club of Gettysburg College celebrated Diwali at Glatfelter Lodge over family weekend.

Diwali is a major Indian and Nepalese festival that is annually celebrated in October/November by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs across the globe and is known as the "Festival of Light" where lamps or candles signify the victory of good over evil within every human being.
