Another long day on the road, and the group's spirits are high.  The drive through Kansas and eastern Colorado seemed endless, but we were rewarded by the Denver skyline and the snowcapped Rocky Mountains.  We continue our drive over the Rockies until our final destination of the night, Dewey Bridge Campground outside of Moab.

Highlights spotted today:

• a coyote doing personal business by the side of the highway in Kansas
• a dozen bighorn sheep grazing by the side of the road while driving over the Rockies
• a great horned owl fly across our path while driving to our campsite

The group ready to go bright and early, and to Ruth's pleasant surprise, without prompting at all.
