Clouds began rolling into Goblin Valley State Park, but the rain held off long enough for a morning hike into Little Wild Horse Canyon. The canyon was surprisingly busy with tourists, photographers and families with young children. After a brief hike, we drove through Capitol Reef National Park for a quick stop in their visitor's center. We then drove to Calf Creek Recreational Area for another hike to the falls there inspite of the lingering scattered showers. The final leg of this long day took us to Ruby's Inn just outside of Bryce National Park. Another cold, rainy night lined up and a late arrival to our location translated into a hotel stay.
