We spent the night at the home of Ruth's friends in Kanab, Utah.  After running into an old friend at a local store yesterday, the group received an invitation to spend the night with them.  With the continued scattered showers in the area, this seemed like a good option.  We rose early for a drive to the Grand Canyon National Park.  We were fortunate to have the company of two National Park Service professionals who shared information about the area.  We closed our night with a dinner at a local Mexican restaurant, Escobar's.  Tonight, we crashed with another set of friends who warmed up the hot tub for the group.
