Road Trip May 19

May 19 - Leave Gettysburg College for St. Louis

Our drive through Pennsylvania was slow and uneventful.  Ashley and Dominique split the drive through the windy, construction lanes of the PA Turnpike.  We took a long break in West Virginia.  The dreary, rainy drive through Indiana and Illinois seemed to drag endlessly.  Dinner perked the group for the push into our planned destination: St. Louis.  Crossing over the Mississippi River and seeing the St. Louis arch in the night sky sent the group into loud cheers.  We stopped deep in Missouri, only 60 miles from the Kansas stateline.
