May 30 - Homeward Bound

This will be our final online update for our road trip.  We are close to Des Moines, Iowa, and trying to make our destination goals.  Everyone is tired and ready to get home.  Long showers and soft beds sound good right about now.  We were not able to make it to Omaha last night because of severe weather conditions, lightning storms, high winds and tornado warnings.  We stayed at a hotel to play it safe.  Students will call home tonight to give updates on where we are and our anticipated arrival time.  We thank everyone for following along with our progress and look forward to sharing more when we see you.
