CUB Renovations and Posting Policy

Signs in CUB and Plank: Any group or person wishing to hang posters in the College Union Building or Plank Hall will need to get the poster approved by the Office of Student Activities and First-Year Programs.  No posters may contain any references to alcohol unless it is Host Provider or BYOB.  You are allowed 2 postings per building.

Banners on Plank: In order to secure a spot for banner hanging on the side of Plank Hall, you must contact the Office of Student Activities and First-Year Programs to find out about availability. 

Sheet Signs on Plank: There are a few restrictions on hanging Sheet signs on the side of Plank Gym.  You may only hang a sheet sign if there is enough room that no other signs are being covered or hidden.  No sign may have any references to alcohol unless it is Host Provider or BYOB.  Also, no inappropriate signs may be displayed.  If you are unsure about the appropriateness of your sign, bring it to CUB 240 for approval. 

Also, we have created a CUB Advisory Board which gives students a voice in the creation or evaluation of policies or guidelines for CUB spaces as well as review allocation of Plank office space and storage space.
