Overview:
The elective sessions will provide First-Years with the chance to connect with people throughout campus while also exploring topics that will help them make the most of their Gettysburg experience. To sign up for an elective, e-mail the listed RA/RC contact to reserve a space. You must e-mail the contact, at least 72 hours before the scheduled event.
Elective Sessions are not required for FYE attendance. One elective can be used to make up for one missed point. You can attend as many electives as desired as long as you sign up ahead of time but only ONE will count towards makeup attendance.

"The professors administering the elective sessions are generally passionate about their subjects and encourage students to become "Gettysburg Great". Last year, I was in charge of the FYE Session about Public Policy, a new major offered at Gettysburg. Prof. Mott is a great story teller and gave an interesting perspective on how the major was designed and introduced in the curriculum."
