Campus Activities Board Staff

Kavya Kumar '13

Campus Activities Board President

I am a senior Political Science and Globalization Studies double major from Kings Point, New York. On Campus, I am the CAB President, a member of Attic Advisory Board, an Inside Politics fellow, member of the Senior Class Gift Committee, tutor at Biglerville Elementary School, Soccer coach for Gettysburg Youth Soccer Club, member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity, and involved in many intramural sports on campus.  I was an Orientation Leader for the Class of 2014 and 2015 and studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland last spring.  At the moment I am a bit unclear as to what the future holds - I hope to work for a year or two before attending graduate school for international relations or something similar to that.  My one wish is that whatever I do with my life, I will be in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the World Cup and Olympics!

Becky Deffler '13

Vice President of Finance

I’m Becky, and I’m a senior from South Plainfield, New Jersey.   I’m a biology major with minors in chemistry and studio art.  Next fall, I’m headed to Boston to attend New England College of Optometry.  My job in OSA is Vice President of Finance for CAB.  My other activities on campus include: Alpha Phi Omega, Attic Advisory Board, and working as a tour guide for Admissions and as a PLA in the biology department.  I collect anything elephant related, and I love everything about Servo Sunday brunch.
