Residence hall living is a vital component of the first-year student experience at Gettysburg. All housing placements for first-year students are based on course selection and registration as a part of the First-Year Experience Program. Huber, a first-year residence hall, is one of the first campus buildings you will encounter if approaching the College from the north. The Quarry Suites Complex is a popular housing option for juniors and seniors. Most first-year residence hall rooms house two students. All offer wireless internet access. Students wishing to explore a particular interest, academic subject, talent, or social cause may petition to live together in a College-owned theme house. Farmhouse is a theme house at Gettysburg College dedicated to the promotion of sustainability and social justice through intentional living and, of course, good food.
