Constitution Apartments are one of 11 apartment-style residence halls for upperclass students. Located along Constitution Avenue near Ice House, the apartments are a short walk to all academic buildings.
Primarily used for Theme Housing, Constitution Apartments houses 28 students in three separate apartments. There are two nine-person apartments and one ten-person apartment. Constitution Apartments is made up of three stories; Apartments A and B are located on the first and second floors, and Apartment C makes up the entire third floor.
Each apartment in Constitution Apartments has a full kitchen (including a full-size refrigerator and range) with a dining area that includes a table with chairs. Kitchens are not equipped with dinnerware and cookware.
Each apartment contains two bathrooms that accommodate one person at a time, therefore these bathrooms are gender-neutral.
Each student is provided with an extra-long bed (39 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches), a desk and chair; a dresser and closet space. There is approximately 15 inches between the floor and the bottom of the bed. Students may loft or bunk their beds by acquiring the additional pieces necessary to do so. These pieces will be available in your building lobby during the first several weeks of the fall semester.
The living room furniture generally consists of a sofa, one or two chairs and an end table.
