Patrick Hall

All first-year students live in one of the two first-year quads. Placement for first-year students is based on course selection and registration as a part of the First-Year Residential College Program. Residence hall living, a vital component of the Gettysburg Experience, is intended to facilitate the personal growth and development of each student.

Patrick Hall is a traditional residence hall that houses approximately 150 first-year students and consists of four floors and 84 rooms.  Each room in Patrick Hall has tiled floors and typically houses two students, with male and female bathrooms on each floor.  All bathrooms in Patrick Hall accommodate more than one person at a time and are single gender (male or female).

Each room in Patrick Hall has at least one window with blinds, a bookshelf, and mirror. Each student is provided with an extra-long (38 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches), a desk and chair; a dresser and closet space. Students may loft or bunk their beds by acquiring the additional pieces necessary to do so. These pieces will be available in your building lobby during the first several weeks of the fall semester. There is approximately 15 inches between the floor and the bottom of the bed. To gain additional storage space below the bed, students may also use bed risers, which are available for purchase at the College Bookstore.
