Lahm Hall, one of four suite-style residence halls for upperclass students, is located on the northeast side of campus, just a short walk from most academic buildings.
Acquired by the College in 2002 and is named in memory of Helen Lahm, mother of the late Martin L. Lahm '65. Lahm Hall houses 24 students with one or two students in each suite.
Formerly a motel, there are 15 rooms in Lahm Hall with one Residence Life student staff member (Community Advisor) living in one of the rooms.
Each room in Lahm Hall has dedicated heating and air conditioning and tiled floors. Each room contains one bathroom that accommodates one person at a time, therefore each bathroom is gender-neutral. Each room also has one window with a blind, a bookshelf, and mirror (located in the bathroom).
Each student is provided with an extra-long (38 inches x 80 inches x 6 1/2 inches), bunkable bed; a desk and chair; a dresser and closet space. Students may contact Facilities Services at 717-337-6700 to request the additional pieces necessary to bunk their bed. There is approximately 15 inches between the floor and the bottom of the bed. To gain additional storage space below the bed, students may use bed risers, which are available for purchase at the College Bookstore.
