Our Mission
The Department of Public Safety is committed to the provision of high-quality, continuously improving, community service oriented patrolling (CSOP) safety and security services designed to provide a safe and secure environment where community members can work, live, and pursue their academic and professional endeavors. Departmental members are an integral part of Gettysburg College's educational mission ensuring the organization's protection, service, and enforcement efforts are accomplished in a manner consistent with the philosophy and strategy of CSOP
