Officer Tim Krapf has recently been promoted to Sergeant/Investigator. Tim's promotion is the result of his superb work as a professional and responsible officer who has always had the safety and interests of our students at heart. Tim has shown a great deal of maturity and professionalism in the performance of his duties and he has always been someone members of the department could go to for assistance, help, or just strong quality advice.
The position of Sergeant performs a variety of shift leader and task supervisory duties in the absence of a Lieutenant. The Sergeant will assist the Lieutenants in the supervision of the department’s daily shift operations; including planning, staffing, organizing, and directing shift related activities. The Sergeant will additionally assist Lieutenants in the completion of specific administrative duties and tasks to include: performance appraisals, counseling, discipline, mentoring, coaching, training, and staff development. This position will perform regular patrol duties providing supervision to officers in the field and will be the department's primary investigators.
