Current Position/Title: Community Service/Communications Officer Gettysburg College Employment Date: December 1988, Full-time February 1990 to present. Formal Education: High school and some college Previous Work Experience: 5 years in retail customer service, 10 years as an Emergency Medical Technician in the career and volunteer field , 12 years School Police Officer in the public school system. Formal Training and Certifications: PA Act 235 Certification, 2011 Graduate of the NHACLEA Campus Safety Academy, 1999 Crime Prevention Practioner Course, through the Pennsylvania Association of Campus Crime Prevention Practioners (PACCPP), Anti-Terrorism instructor course through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) , 1999 Rape Aggression and Self-defense Defense (RAD) instructor, Self-Defense and 2005 Familiarization Exchange (SAFE) instructor, 2002 Public Safety Cyclist through the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA), Member of the Gettysburg, Barlow (Life Member) and York Springs Fire Departments, Curent PA Emergency Medical Technician, Numerous training classes and certifications in Emergency Services.
