Director of Life and Fire Safety Services and Associate Director of Public Safety - The Associate Director assists the Director of Public Safety in the management, operations, and administration of the Department of Public Safety. The position is responsible for supervising and managing the daily security operations and functions of the Department, to include life and fire safety initiatives, fleet management, critical incident/emergency response management, campus emergency response team, occupational health and safety programs, technological systems, budget analysis and preparation, patrol operations, CSOP operations, parking and registration, and institutional Life Safety Initiatives with respect to the residence halls and fraternities. |

Life and Fire Safety Manager - The Life and Fire Safety Manager assists the Director and Associate Director in the administration of the Department of Public Safety's Life and Fire Safety. The position is responsible for maintaining and implementing the life and fire safety service functions of the Department; to include records management; personnel management; CSOP (Community Service Oriented Patrolling); fire alarm system/component testing, inspections, and maintenance; fire extinguisher required checks and maintenance; building/residence hall life/fire safety audits/inspections; fire drills; sprinkler alarm system testing; other related life and fire safety functions as mandated by the Director and/or Associate Director; and Departmental quality control initiatives. The Life and Fire Safety Manager provides for the general safety and security of the college community by delivering special department services regarding fire and environmental conditions. |
