Women's Center
The Women's Center Mission Statement
The Women's Center is dedicated to supporting the fullest expression of women's potential in interpersonal, professional, and leadership experiences for a lifetime.
History
Opened in the fall of 1988, the Women's Center offers a relaxed, warm, friendly, growth-oriented alternative for students, faculty, and administrators. The Women's Center invites the campus to use the facility and its resources to cultivate new ideas and reexamine the traditional thinking of women's roles in society.
The Center's secure and supportive atmosphere provides freedom from sexual bias and inequities. The Women's Center welcomes a diversity of women's experiences, ranging from the traditional to the radical. It is a place where women, as well as men, can grow to their full potential.
