Not Your Normal Spring Break

This past March, 50 Gettysburg College students and employees traveled to New Orleans to take part in a national effort to help Gulf Coast residents clean up from Hurricane Katrina.

Asian Studies at Gettysburg College

Asian Studies was created three years ago, and students can take up to four years of Japanese and complete an interdisciplinary major or minor in Japanese Studies. The department also offers two years of Chinese language.

Tour of Duty

Allen Edwards '93 has been working steadily at the DOE since 2000 -- except for a 15-month interruption, when his Army Reserve unit, the 354th Civil Affairs Brigade, was called up to serve in Iraq.
