Lodging

The College has several different types of lodging. You may request the type or a combination that best suites your group.

• Traditional Non Air-Conditioned (About 650 beds available) These are residence halls that have long hallways with rooms on either side and community restrooms.
• Traditional Air-Conditioned (290 beds available)  These are either like the Traditional Non Air-Conditioned except with air-conditioning or are motel-like in concept with bedroom and private bath.
• Apartment Style Air-Conditioned (400 beds available) One and two story units are available. All units have common areas, kitchens and private baths. Most sleep 4-6 people in two bedrooms.
• Suite Style Air-Conditioned (200 beds available) The Quarry Suites are our newest residence halls. The suites are in 4 different buildings within a complex. They have all single or double rooms surrounding a common area, kitchenette and private bath. TV's with cable are in each common space.

You may also choose to provide linen packs for your guests. These are individually wrapped packets of 2 flat sheets, 2 towels, and a pillow case. These packs are $3/bed/night. Pillows and blankets are provided at no cost.

Keys will be given to the director of the incoming conference by the Conference Services Department. All keys must be returned prior to leaving the campus. Any key not returned at this time will be considered lost. Your conference will be charged $70.00 for each lost key. All lost keys are replaced prior to the next group or within twelve (12) hours of your departure, whichever comes first.

All residence halls will be secured at 11pm and unlocked at 7am. These times may be adjusted only upon request of the conference.

Check-in time will be no sooner than 2pm on arrival day. Check-out time will be no later than 11am. Conferences will be charged an additional nights lodging for each person not checked-out by that time. Gettysburg College does reserve the right to assign a check-out time to an individual group to assist the College in preparing the campus for the next group.

Early arrivals and late departures will depend on availability. The above check-in and check-out times will be strictly observed to prevent the overbooking of beds.
