AIMS
The AIMS Legacy system was completely retired by IT managers on July 1, 2007 and there is no system access. Gettysburg College purchased the AIMS (Automated Information Management System) in the 1980's and it remained the administrative and academic computing system until late 1999, when Human Resources Office migrated to the new Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) platform PeopleSoft. AIMS data initially fed the College's emerging portal technology, College Navigation (CNAV 1.0) pioneered by Gettysburg College Information Technology(IT) and Computer Science Department professionals in the late 1990's.
