Enterprise Resource Planning

In December 2004, Oracle purchased PeopleSoft and created a critical relationship change between Gettysburg College and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems vendor.  This change prompted the College to form a campus-wide ERP Assessment Committee that meets semi-annually (or quarterly, if necessary) to discuss strategies, information and impacts and future vendors for the college.  The committee studies options for the College on what is believed to be a New Implementation of a ERP, no matter whether we use Oracle or another ERP vendor, in the next 5-7 planning years
