Anti-Virus
The latest version of Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition is provided to all Gettysburg College students when they arrive on campus. All students are required to run this college provided version of Norton while at Gettysburg College. Please remove any other anti-virus programs you might have prior to arriving on campus.

Ad-Aware
AimFix (to remove the Aim Virus)
Ccleaner (to clear brower temp files, cookies, and history)
Click&Clean (Plugin that quickly accesses Ccleaner. Follow website instructions to create taskbar and browser shortcut)

Internet Explorer for Mac OS X
Java Environment for PC -- prompted to log in after you are already in CNAV, fix it here

Instant Messaging
Trillian (switch to this from AIM -- you won't get the AIM virus!)
Adium (for Mac OS)
