Have you purchased a new computer or are you bringing an older one to campus? Make sure that your computer specifications meet what Gettysburg requires.

Do you know your Gettysburg username and password? These two pieces of information will be very important to you in college. You will need them to check your e-mail , log into CNAV, and access Angel. You should have received you username in the mail with your other First-Year material. Your initial password is your SSN. If you have not changed your password, you can do it at Password Help.

Gettysburg College has implemented a required domain policy. It might sound complicated but all this means for you is a few extra steps in setting up your computer when you initially arrive at Gettysburg. Before you are allowed to connect to the network (browsing, AIM, etc.) the college needs to make sure that your computer is both clean of viruses and protected from them.
