Digital Center Facilitators

The Digital Center Facilitators (DCF's) staff the Digital Center Support Desk on the ground floor of the West Building, right off the main entrance on the east side of the building. They are trained in the use of the equipment located at the self-service stations that provide such services as scanning (both images and text/OCR), media conversion (such as VHS to DVD, miniDV to DVD, etc.), and downloading images from digital cameras. They are charged with following the proper procedure for handling the checking in and out of loaner equipment, such as digital voice recorders, digital video cameras, and digital still cameras, for course projects. The helpdesk is staffed during the following hours:

• Monday-Thursday noon-10pm
• Friday noon-5pm
• Closed Saturday
• Sunday noon-midnight
