Science Center Lawn (adjacent to Constitution Avenue midway between North Washington Street and West Lincoln Avenue)


2017 Schedule:

6:00 p.m.              Venue opens; food and beverage vendors open
6:30 - 8:00 p.m.    Opening set by The Willys
8:30 - 9:30 p.m.    Gala Pops Orchestra Concert
9:30 - 9:55  p.m.   Fireworks (sponsored by Destination Gettysburg)

Food vendors include Gettysburg College Dining Services (hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, watermelon, chips, pasta salad, and soft drinks), Uncle Moe's Soul Food, and Steinour's Kettle Corn.

Beverage vendors include Battlefield Brew Works, Hauser Estate Winery, Halbrendt  Vineyard & Winery, and Big Hill Ciderworks.

The Gala Pops Orchestra is under the direction of Professor John William (Buzz) Jones and Professor Emeritus Norman Nunamaker
