Vice President for Development, Alumni, and Parent Relations Search
Gettysburg College invites nominations and expressions of interest for the position of Vice President of Development, Alumni and Parent Relations.
The College seeks a high-energy leader with a proven record of success as a senior development professional. Key qualifications include: demonstrated success leading and building staff and programs within a sophisticated development operation; superb skills in major gift cultivation and solicitation; significant experience in comprehensive campaign planning and implementation; ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collegial environment; and an ability to embrace the culture and values of Gettysburg College and relate to its many constituencies. The ideal candidate will be able to articulate passionately the mission and aspirations of a liberal arts college.
Reporting directly to President Janet Riggs, the Vice President provides strategic direction and leadership for all of the development, alumni and parent relations functions and a staff of 42. On average, the College raises in excess of $10 million annually. Gettysburg College has more than 24,000 living alumni.
