President's Advisory Commission on Diversity

The President's Advisory Commission on Diversity furthers Gettysburg College's mission by helping to create an inclusive community where people of all backgrounds, belief systems, and life experiences learn from one another and become leaders in a diverse and complex world.

The Commission is charged with:

• Developing a long-term diversity plan to be included in the strategic planning process (See Strategic Directions of the College) 
• Proposing, implementing, and evaluating new approaches to increase under-represented groups 
• Strengthening the sense of community for everyone
