Multiphasic Blood Screening

Human Resources and the Wellness Committee are pleased to announce the dates for our annual Multiphasic Blood Screening (MBS). The Screening appointments will be held every 15 minutes from 7:00AM to 9:00AM at the CUB Ballroom on the following dates:

Tuesday, October 28, 2014
Friday, October 31, 2014

1. Enroll yourself through CNAV, My Place, My MBS.

The MBS includes over 40 tests, i.e. Chemistry Profile including glucose, cholesterol (HDL and LDL), triglyceride, and a complete blood count. A 10-12 hour FAST is required. The cost of the MBS will be paid by the College for all employees and their spouses/partners. Others are welcome to participate in the MBS; however, the cost will be $30.00.

Optional tests will be available for the following cost (checks payable to Gettysburg College):

  • Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA for men ages 40 and over) .... $15.00
  • Thyroid Stimulation Hormone (TSH)....................................... $10.00
  • Vitamin B12 Deficiency Test.................................................... $20.00
  • Glycohemoglobin (HbA1C) Test.............................................. $15.00

2. You do not need to bring WebMD Wellness Profile (WP) survey confirmation to the MBS with you. We encourage you to wait to complete WebMD Wellness Profile until you receive the results of your MBS in order to input your screening results into your WP to get a more accurate health analysis. Your Wellness Profile will be due on January 16, 2015.

3. After your receive your MBS results, you may complete the WebMD Wellness Profile by following these directions.


Light refreshments will be available after the blood screening in the CUB Ballroom.
