Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with one to three years of athletic equipment experience preferred. Certification within the Athletic Equipment Manager's Association is highly desirable. The successful candidate should have knowledge of supplies, equipment, software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, as well as an ability to learn and follow NCAA rules and regulations and willingness to development new skills when necessary. The following demonstrated abilities are desired: to communicate orally and in writing, to work independently and as a team player, to provide excellent customer service, to work with a variety of individuals in a harmonious manner, to meet deadlines successfully and to maintain professionalism and courtesy under hectic and demanding conditions. Gettysburg College sponsors 24 varsity sports, with over 500 student athletes competing in Division III of the NCAA.
