Project Floor Technician - 2nd Shift

Gettysburg College is seeking a full-time (40 hrs/week) Custodial Project Crew Member to work in the Facilities Services Department.  Position generally works Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. Some overtime and weekend work will be required. 

Position performs a variety of custodial and housekeeping duties related to specialty cleaning on a project crew.  Must have knowledge of custodial practices, carpet and hard floor surfaces. Demonstrated skill in the use of floor maintenance equipment is highly preferred. Must have basic reading and writing skills.  Minimal previous custodial experience is preferred. The following demonstrated abilities are required: to understand and follow simple instructions, to walk and stand for extended periods of time, to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular and repetitive basis, and to drive on a regular basis in all types of weather conditions.  Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one, & have a favorable driving record.
